    No, you don’t need to be home. Most of our customers provide a way for our cleaners to enter, such as a door code, key placement, or meeting us at the start. If you prefer to be home, that’s totally fine too!
  • How does Freshen My Home’s cleaning service work?
    Freshen My Home offers a simple, subscription-based cleaning service focused on the essentials. Choose a service (Bathroom Only, Bathroom Plus, or Apartment Service), select how often you'd like us to clean, and book online. Our professional cleaners follow a checklist to ensure a consistent, high-quality clean every time.
  • How much does a cleaning cost?
    Pricing starts at $60-$90 per visit, depending on your service choice and cleaning frequency. Bathroom Only and Bathroom Plus services are designed to be simple, affordable, and efficient. You can view pricing and book online in just a few minutes!
  • When is my card charged?
    Your card is charged after each cleaning is completed. It’s important to keep your payment information up to date to avoid service disruptions.
  • What’s included in the Bathroom Only and Bathroom Plus services?
    Bathroom Only: We clean and sanitize the toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, mirrors, and floors. Bathroom Plus: Includes everything in Bathroom Only, plus vacuuming and mopping the main living areas of your home.
  • Do you offer deep cleaning?
    No - and Maybe. Our specialty services focus on routine, eco-friendly maintenance cleaning. However, our Companion Cleaning service allows you to work alongside or direct a cleaner for more detailed projects and could be used for deep cleaning.
  • Can I skip a cleaning without canceling my subscription?
    Yes! If you need to skip a cleaning, just let us know before 12:00 PM the day before to avoid charges. Your subscription will continue as usual.
  • How do I reschedule or cancel my cleaning?
    You can reschedule or cancel by notifying us before 12:00 PM (noon) the day before your scheduled cleaning. Late cancellations may be subject to a 50% charge, and no-shows are charged the full amount.
  • How often can I schedule cleanings, and what happens if my “2x/month” cleaning falls on a five-week month?
    Freshen My Home offers flexible cleaning schedules with options for 1x/month, 2x/month, or 4x/month service. If you select 2x/month, your cleanings will occur twice within each calendar month. However, since some months have five weeks, this means there may occasionally be a longer gap between cleanings.If you prefer a true every-other-week schedule, just let us know! We’re happy to set you up with a recurring biweekly appointment instead of the 2x/month option.
  • Do you use security cameras or body cams?
    Yes, our cleaners wear body cams for added safety and accountability. Footage is stored securely, automatically deleted after 180 days, and is only reviewed if there's an issue—your privacy is important to us.
  • How will the cleaner get into my home if I’m not there?
    You can provide a key, door code, or meet the cleaner at the door. Just let us know your preference when booking, and we’ll handle the rest securely.
  • What if I’m not satisfied with my cleaning?
    We strive for quality, but if something isn’t right, let us know within 24 hours, and we’ll make it right! Your satisfaction is important to us.
  • Do you clean apartments and condos
    Yes! We clean houses, apartments, and condos. Our Apartment Service is specifically designed for apartment-sized spaces and takes just 45 minutes.
